I Love…cosmetics

I received a gorgeous pamper package from I Love… cosmetics this week. I Love is a bath, body and beauty brand which creates deliciously scented products. The designs are fun with cute love heart graphics and the fragrances are feel good and fabulously fruity.

The products sent were from the strawberries and cream, mango and papaya and peachy passionfruit ranges. Read on for my thoughts!

Peachy passionfruit bath and shower crème (coming soon!)

Firstly, I liked that this had two uses in one bottle meaning that I don’t have to buy separate bath and shower gels. Secondly, the bottle is a decent size at 500ml so it would last a while. It produces good bubbles and lathers well in the shower. The peach and passion fruit scent is lovely, both tropical and sweet at the same time. The crème contains a unique skin softening vitamin complex to help moisturise and keep skin soft and supple. I like that is soap free (less drying on my skin), paraben free and is PH balanced too.

Peachy passionfruit body butter

When I think of body butters, The Body Shop varieties usually spring to mind. However, at £13 each, I consider them to be more of a payday treat than an everyday essential. This is a much more affordable butter at only £2.99! The consistency isn’t as thick as other body butters (e.g. The Body Shop or Soap and Glory offerings) but it is easy to spread and absorbs quickly. It feels creamy more than buttery but it’s an excellent moisturiser all the same.

Peachy passionfruit spritzer

I haven’t used body sprays since my teens but I was looking forward to using one again, for the memories if anything! This was quite a ‘wet’ spray but didn’t take too long to dry. It was nice to use after the peachy passionfruit body cream to prolong the scent and it felt refreshing to use after the gym. I wouldn’t use it as a substitute for perfume but I would use it before perfume to add a subtle layer of fragrance. It would also be handy to keep in my bag if I’m ever feeling hot and bothered whilst out and about.

Mango and papaya shower smoothie

I’m obsessed with exfoliating and aim to do it once or twice a week. The thought of dry, itchy skin goes through me! This shower smoothie contains natural almond shell but I didn’t really feel the exfoliating effect to be honest. I prefer a scrub with coarse grains, this just felt like a shower gel with a few bits in it! It’s great if you want a very gentle exfoliator but if you’re after a scrub that’s more heavy duty or something to help remove fake tan, I’d go for something else. It smelled stunning though!

Strawberries and cream body lotion

This body lotion includes coconut oil and shea butter which helped leave my skin feel nourished and smooth. The scent is scrumptious, really fresh and creamy. I LOVED the pump bottle as it was convenient and less messy than scooping out of a pot. I’d keep this on my desk and use it on my hands aswell.

The I Love…cosmetics range are available online, Superdrug, Boots, Matalan and Argos.

Hi there, I’m so sorry I have no idea! Perhaps contact the company themselves and check if they ship internationally! Hope you get some!
