Having a full-time job, blogging, fitting in three gym sessions a week and trying to have a life in general means that I don’t have time for hours of pampering. I do think it’s important to have some ‘me-time’ though so I was keen to test Masque Bar face masks, which give better looking skin in less than thirty minutes. So not much time out of my busy day!
This helps minimise the appearance of dark spots and various pigmentation irregularities for a more even complexion. It contains orange extract, liquorice root extract and vitamin C to brighten, correct and illuminate. I used this mask before bed and when I woke up, I had the most radiant skin. Normally, I look so tired in the mornings but thanks to this, I looked fresh and wide awake.
I don’t get spots very often but when I do, it’s around THAT time of the month. This mask soothes irritated skin and bumps while helping to control excess oil. The non-drying formulation purifies the complexion, leaving skin looking clearer. When I used this, any angry spots had calmed down and didn’t look so red. I recommend this mask for troubled skin!
At 25, I don’t really have wrinkles so I can’t comment on this mask reducing their appearance. However, it hydrated my skin well and left it feeling super soft and refreshed. It contains green tea extract, collagen and vitamin E so no wonder my face looked revitalised! One for mature skins or if your skin is needing a moisture boost.
This minimises the appearance of pores for a refined complexion. The blend of Coenzyme Q-10 and anti-oxidants exfoliates, smoothes and moisturises. I don’t have large pores anyway so minimising them wasn’t a concern but this certainly made my complexion look more even.
Masque Bar face masks are available at Boots.com.

They sound fab! I do want to try a sheet mask, they must be so much easier than having to faff about with a liquid one! xx

Sheet masks are much more user-friendly and far less messy – I really like them Jasmin! But at the same time, there’s something therapeutic about smoothing on a face mask, I use old make-up brushes for neater application! Thank you for taking the time to read the post :)
