How I spend my weekends

It’s always interesting to hear how people spend their free time so I’d thought I’d give you an insight to what I do at the weekends.

Here goes!

Cocktails

I’m not much of a drinker but I don’t mind one or two cocktails occasionally to be social. While I’m not a fussy eater, I’m fussy with what I drink and would much rather have one expensive cocktail made with quality ingredients rather than lots of cheap shots or bad pitchers. I don’t have a favourite tipple but I hate anything too sickly or brightly coloured. Basically, bubblegum flavoured drinks are my worst nightmare!

Shopping

For me, shopping is a great way to unwind. I spend a lot of time in an office for work and this blog so it’s nice to take a break away from the screen and walk around the shops. I love browsing the latest collections on the high street and stocking up on any bits and pieces I need (or don’t need!). You’ll often find me in Zara, lusting after everything.

Eating out

I spend far too much money on eating out but I don’t begrudge it at all because it’s something I enjoy doing. It’s not just about the food; it’s also about the experience itself. I love catching up with friends or spending time with my boyfriend over good food in nice surroundings. I could happily eat in fine dining restaurants every week but when my bank account needs a break; I love sushi and fish restaurants in general as well as fusion and French cuisine.

Exploring a city

When I was a teenager, I lived for shopping not sightseeing. While shopping still has a firm place in my heart, so does seeing the sights of different cities. I adore having a wander around and visiting museums, art galleries and attractions. London is my favourite city in the UK but I also like Bath and Bristol, when I don’t fancy traveling too far.
