Whenever I think of detoxing, my body comes to mind rather than my hair. But after excessive styling over the festive season, it made sense to give my strands some TLC. Fortunately, Phyto Paris were on hand to revitalise and replenish my ‘do with these hero products:
Phytopolléine Botanical Scalp Stimulant (£24.50)
This pre-shampoo treatment oil contains lemon, rosemary, cypress and sage to purify the scalp and promote healthy hair growth. Whenever I read about hair growth, massaging the scalp has always been recommended but admittedly, I always forget to do it! Applying this treatment encouraged me to massage but I don’t think I’d remember to do it all the time. If you don’t mind strong scents and have the discipline to use regularly, give it a try.
Phytoneutre Clarifying Detox Shampoo (£12.50)
This shampoo contains eucalyptus, sage, chamomile and witch hazel which instantly eliminates product build up, smoke and pollution. It really appealed to me because I use dry shampoo and hairspray every day so I need to give my hair a deep cleanse from time to time. I was worried that the ingredients would be drying but my hair felt super soft and smooth after using. The tube would last ages too as Phyto recommend to use once a week.
Phytokeratine Extreme Exceptional Mask (£36)
I like to keep my hair in good condition, so I apply intensive masks as often as possible. Phytokeratine is the ultimate repairing treatment. A unique combination of keratin, nourishing sapote butter and restorative baobab oil which leaves hair strengthened, soft and supple. The ultra-rich and creamy texture left my hair feeling like silk. A must-have for a pampering session at home!
Phyto Paris products are available at Lookfantastic, Selfridges and top UK salons nationwide.
