What’s in my work handbag

In need of #MondayMotivation, I thought I’d give my work handbag a spring clean today and share my essentials with you. Enjoy!

iPad

I don’t take my carry my iPad around every day but I find it useful to have if I want to order anything online, do internet banking and book appointments on my lunch hour. It’s also handy if I have a long journey home because I can watch Netflix!

Notebook and pen

Even though I type notes on my phone most of the time, I still like jotting down ideas, phone numbers, email addresses and to-do lists on paper. There’s something satisfying about ticking things off when you’ve done them rather than deleting the notes on your phone.

Tangle Teezer

My ultimate handbag essential! I love this so much that I wouldn’t ever go back to normal hair brushes! It fits in my hand nicely, glides through my hair and make brushing less of a chore. If you have long hair like mine, then the Tangle Teezer will be your new best friend!

Invisibobble

I only discovered Invisibobble a few months ago and I’m converted! I can wear my hair up all day using one and it will be completely kink-free when I take it down. I also like them because they hold my hair well but aren’t as tight as elastics – no headaches for me.

Glasses

I use a computer every day at work so I need glasses to see the screen properly. I’ve only ever forgotten to take them once or twice before and it was absolute torture! Straining your eyesight and squinting all day is not fun in the slightest. I’ve always bought Chanel frames as they’re so chic!

iPhone

I wouldn’t say that I can’t live without my phone but it does make my life easier. Besides keeping in touch with people, I listen to music, manage my social media sites, set alarms and reminders, type notes and even edit my blog on it. So useful!

Hairspray

I wear my hair up a lot so I carry a mini hairspray with me in case of emergencies. It comes in handy when I’ve been to the gym before work and my hair needs taming afterwards. The miniature cans are almost as pricey as their full-size versions but far more practical (and cute).
