A quick life update; becoming a full-time blogger

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog, which is a bit strange for me because I normally post at least 2-3 times a week. Anyway, I haven’t taken a break from blogging. In fact, quite the opposite!

I became a full-time blogger this summer so things have been non-stop. I’ve been doing loads of behind-the-scenes stuff so unfortunately, the actual writing part of blogging has had to take a back seat. Insider tip #1: writing is only a small fragment of full-time blogging, there’s SO much more to it.

My schedule still hasn’t calmed down but from now on, I’m going to try and blog on-the-go (i.e. in between appointments and whilst on the train etc) because I want to keep you all updated with what I’m doing. Plus, I really miss posting on a regular basis!

Since my last post, I’ve been back and forth to London several times for meetings, launches and events, working on freelance projects, collaborating with some exciting new brands, shooting lots of fashion content on location (you can see all my looks on Instagram first!), trialling the latest beauty products, planning future lifestyle content and networking as much as I can. Phew!

And when I’m back home for 5 minutes, I’m doing blog admin and preparing for the next trip/meeting/shoot. Besides building my “brand”, I’ve also been trying to have a life in general. Family, friends, Phil and Coco the dog all have to come in somewhere! Their support has been incredible over the past few months.

In conclusion, I’ve been super busy since making the move to full-time blogger! So now that I’ve explained my brief absence from here, I can get on with posting as much as possible again. I can’t wait!

Here’s to fresh, new content on georgiahathaway.co.uk! See you again very soon!

Congratulations on your step to becoming a full-time blogger! I have been following you for a while now and I wish you all the very best! Also, we move to the UK in January of 2017, so perhaps I will see you at a British bloggers’ get-together someday! :)
