Florals and fur; the ASOS statement bomber jacket

Okay, I admit that I love bomber jackets. It took me a while to get into them but now I can’t stop buying them. Seriously, I need to stop! It’s getting ridiculous now.

Satin, embroidered, sequin, sporty, glam – they’re all in my wardrobe. And when I saw this baby on ASOS, it had to be mine. It makes me so happy every time I see it!

It’s cute, floral and has a FURRY collar to boot. I mean, come on! In my opinion, it’s the perfect jacket for early Autumn when there’s a chill in the air but there’s no need anything heavy.

My style

Since it’s a busy jacket, I tend to stick to simple outfits underneath. Nothing crazy as it’s all about the flowers and fur. Unless you want to throw in more prints and textures of course, you go on with your bad self.

Here, I’m wearing it with a leather mini skirt, ankle boots and a grey cami (which is actually a slip dress tucked in). Other than leather or denim skirts, I’d pair it with jeans to keep the focus on the jacket. Although, I wouldn’t say no to wearing it on a cheeky night out over an LBD.

A must-have

I’m wearing it as much as possible before it gets proper cold and I need to dig out the ‘big coat’. Please tell me you know what I mean when I say ‘big coat’?! I swear it’s a British thing!

I also love the colours. I think the blue and green look great together and the lilac sets it off. I really like jacquard print too. It reminds me of something you’d find at Grandma’s house or in a vintage shop, if that makes sense!
