What happened in January; my highlights

Is it just me or has January been really long? Not in a bad way but it seems like it’s gone on forever! Since it’s finally the end of the month, I felt like writing about how January has turned out for me. I enjoy reading other bloggers’ life updates so why not write my own occasionally!

A lifestyle blog post on January highlights
T-shirt, Topshop.

As I mentioned in previous posts throughout January, I wanted to head into 2017 with a positive attitude and I’m pleased to say, I’m still feeling those positive vibes. It’s refreshing to concentrate on what’s going right instead of what’s going wrong.

Nothing has happened in particular. I’ve been looking after myself by going to the gym 4-5 times a week, eating well, reading more, getting to bed early and keeping up the no alcohol/caffeine kick. I know all that might sound dull but honestly, they’ve done me the world of good.

I’ve also stayed on top of life in general. No procrastinating or avoiding, just getting things done. I’ve still worried about stuff because I’m a natural-born worrier but I’ve felt the fear and done it anyway. Instead of thinking no I can’t, I’ve said: “YES I CAN.”

Besides that, I’ve carried on working towards both my life and blog goals. I’ll fill you in on the life goals as the year goes on but I’ve collaborated with some amazing brands already and had some brilliant feedback regarding my blog content. It’s so nice when your efforts are recognised!

As far as February goes, I want to continue the positivity so that it’s another good month. I’m hoping for more confidence in myself! Even if something knocks me down, the important thing is to get back up again and learn from the experience. I’m looking forward to it. Bring it on, February!

I love the ripped AC-DC t-shirt. Well done for not procrastinating and for sticking to your coffee ban!

Great job on being more positive! I have been trying that as well this year. It’s been very challenging though this month. I will say I am glad that January is over. Love that look!
