I think glitter is obligatory during the festive season. Surely it’s the first rule when it comes to dressing for Christmas parties. If you can’t dig out the sequins at this time of year, then when can you?!
This year, the sequin suit from Little Mistress is my go-to party outfit. I mean, look how fabulous it is! The trousers and tuxedo blazer are perfect to wear together or separately. And just look at that gorgeous green colour!

‘Tis the season to shimmer
The trousers would look amazing with a roll neck jumper on Christmas Day for more subtle sparkle. Or you could throw on the tuxedo blazer over a LBD, which would be a perfect look for a night out on Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve. Just slip on some heels! Or trainers if you’re feeling edgy. I’m more of a heels girl though, the higher the better!
Here, I’ve worn them together with a mesh star top underneath from Zara. I’ve gone for full glam because why the heck not. What I love about outfits like this is that I don’t feel the need for jewellery. It’s all about those sequins!

My hair is party-ready too. Before blow-drying, I used TIGI Ego Boost leave-in conditioner to protect my locks from the heat, then TIGI Queen for a Day Thickening Spray on the roots for lift and volume. I always blow-dry my hair upside down too, it works wonders! Another tip is to backcomb for height when it’s dry!
For extra shine, I spritz a tiny bit of TIGI Headrush on the mid-length to ends. It adds a lovely gloss! But be careful, too much and it can make your ‘do look greasy. If you’re worried about looking too slick, spray some on your fingers and gently run through your finished style.
