If there’s one thing I look forward to as the seasons change, it’s my wardrobe. When summer turns to autumn, it’s nice to pack away the little floaty dresses and dig out the trousers. Then winter arrives and so does the knitwear. By the time spring comes, I’m more than happy to swap the heavy coats for something lighter.
Spring has (almost) sprung!
It’s still very much winter at the moment but this is my transitioning into spring outfit. The look I’d go to when I want to embrace the warmer weather but I’m not ready to give up the tights and boots just yet. Spring in the UK is lovely but can be rather chilly. So, tights are a must until around April time! At least for me anyway, I feel the cold far too easily!
I’ve wanted a mac for ages as they’re a timeless staple that you can wear year after year. However, I find many of them too long on me. This style from Oasis is a perfect length and a great colour. It’s more camel than the usual beige. The belted waist is really flattering too, I’d simply tie in a knot rather than doing it up properly for an effortless look. Or wear loose like I’ve done here.
As you might have noticed, I love skirts so this khaki faux suede number is right up my street. The asymmetrical design gives it a modern twist! Having said that, you can’t really see it in my photos. It’s cute though! And the cable knit jumper is ideal for spring because it’s not too thick. I like the bobble detailing aswell.
Bringing the sunshine
Okay, how gorgeous is the saddle bag? I’m obsessed with the colour! As you can see from my Instagram, I’m totally loving cross body bags right now, they’re light, practical; and giving my arms a well-earned break from the bulky handbags I’ve worn over the years. They also force you to fill them only with essentials as they’re smaller. No room for unnecessary bits and pieces!
Okay, I know they’re ANOTHER pair of boots. Nevertheless, you can never have too many pairs! Personally, I prefer a high heel so these babies are perfect for me. I’ve worn them shopping, for lunch and to a concert already. Despite the heel height, they’re very comfortable. I can’t wait to team them with jeans and dresses in the forthcoming months.
Please note that this was a collaboration with Oasis and items shown (apart from the tights and jewellery) were kindly gifted.
