Originally, I spied this Zara floral blazer in the sale online but resisted buying because I wanted to give my debit card a break. Being sensible sucks sometimes.
A week later, I was doing my weekly browse in the Cardiff branch of Zara and spotted the jacket hanging lonely on its own AND in my size. I saw that as complete fate and snapped it up immediately. OOPS. So much for not spending. But it was reduced to £25, i.e. a total bargain.
Since the print is quite busy, I wore it with my trusty Topshop skinnies, a basic black tee from Zara (again!) and Kurt Geiger boots for shopping and lunch out with my boyfriend. It attracted so many compliments, I think almost every person I came into contact with commented on it. I’ll be wearing it to brighten up dull rainy days or when the sun decides to make an appearance.
This is one of my favourite ever outfits because it’s easy to wear, simple and requires zero effort. I like outfits which I don’t have to think about much. I prefer to throw things on and not worry about them for the rest of the day. I hate feeling uncomfortable or self-conscious because I don’t like what I decided to wear that morning – anyone else ever feel like that?
Anyway, what do you think of the look? Let me know!
