I went to Manchester on the weekend and picked up a new outfit there to wear out in the evening. When I’m really struggling to find something I like, Miss Selfridge usually come up trumps for me. I went for this fuchsia playsuit – I’m not usually a lover of pink but I fancied a change!
I picked up the jacket from a River Island last minute simply because the weather has changed so much lately, it’s definitely gone colder! I really like the jacket though – the cut is clean and simple without loads of fussy zip detail and collars. Again, it made a change from the my leather biker which I’ve worn to death!
The bag was a bargain which gets so many compliments – people are always shocked when I say it’s from Primark! I wore my trusty Kurt Geiger boots because there are cobbles everywhere in Manchester and I didn’t want to be tottering around in stilettos. Comfort is still my main priority when it comes to dressing.
I have to mention the amazing bar that I went to as well – The Alchemist. They had the best cocktail menu I’ve ever seen! There were so many I wanted to try but after much deliberation I chose the passion fruit meringue martini which was Passoã, lychee liqueur, lemon juice, lime juice, topped with meringue foam and flamed. It looked and tasted incredible, I’ll definitely be going back there again!
