Topshop haul via Zeek

Don’t get me wrong, I love having gift vouchers. In fact, I prefer receiving them to actual gifts. But sometimes I take ages to spend them, especially if they’re from a retailer I don’t usually shop at.

Luckily, Zeek have created the ideal solution – a mobile app which allows you to sell unwanted and unused gift vouchers/cards. What’s more, you can purchase other users vouchers at a discount. For example, a user could sell a £20 River Island voucher for £16 so you’re getting a 20% discount. Brilliant if you’re planning to shop there anyway – what a great way to save money!

The app is free and very easy to navigate. You can browse through the vouchers available by category (fashion, lifestyle, homeware etc), largest discounts or the newest vouchers.

The app tells you whether it’s a physical or an electronic voucher, as well as the expiry date so you know how long each voucher has left before it expires.

The Zeek team kindly gifted me with £50 so I could test the app myself. After browsing through all of the vouchers, I decided to use my £50 to purchase a £60 Topshop voucher which had a face value of £68. Even though I paid £10 towards it, I still had an excellent discount.

The checkout process took hardly any time at all. The voucher appeared immediately on the app after purchasing and I could use it either online or in store.

I used my voucher in store. The transaction went smoothly and there were no problems. It was so nice being able to access a voucher on my phone rather than rifling through loads of cards in my purse!

I bought two pairs of jeans with the voucher. I won’t talk about them in too much detail because you’ll probably see them in outfit posts at some point.

They’re both from the petite range and they fit PERFECTLY both on the waist and leg. So much so that I don’t even have to have them altered! I don’t know why I even look anywhere else for jeans – Topshop is a life saver!

I went for the Leigh super soft ankle grazer jeans. I already have a pair of Leigh jeans and they’ve lasted me for a good three or four years so I didn’t hesitate to snap up a couple more pairs.

This fresh white pair (£40) will see me through the summer. They’ll look cool with trainers or sandals but I want to wear them with nude ankle boots. I’ll have to keep my eye out for some!

I picked up the darker pair (£38) as I needed a new pair of simple skinnies anyway and these will look good whatever the season.

Lovely for any time of year!

So, if you have a voucher and have no use for it then sell it on Zeek and get cash instead. Or decide how much you pay for your favourite brands and buy a voucher at below face value. My experience with Zeek was quick and effortless, I’d highly reccomend it to anyone!

This is SUCH a good idea, I’m always scouting out discount codes before I commit to buying anything online, so knowing I could get money off this way is amazing :)

Brilliant isn’t it! It’s definitely worth checking on Zeek before buying anything now, there are amazing discounts on there! Some are even better than online discount codes or student discount. I’m a big fan!
