Eco Tools Complexion Collection brushes

I’m still trying to get into the habit of using make-up brushes. Although I use a sponge for foundation and a brush for eyeshadow, I pretty much use my fingers for everything else. Convenient but also messy and not particularly hygenic.

That’s where the Eco Tools Complexion Collection come in. The kit contains all the brushes I need for cleaner application – the Skin Perfecting Brush, Eye Perfecting Brush, Matiffying Face Brush and the Correcting Concealer Brush.

These brushes are superb for complexion perfection!

The handles look sturdy but feel light when you pick them up and the bristles are super soft. The turquoise design is pretty too – they definitely stand out in my make-up bag!

Skin Perfecting Brush

The straight and dense bristles are specifically designed to smoothly and evenly apply BB/CC creams, and the rounded edge of the brush is ideal for precise coverage around the eyes and nose. I like to use it with my Nivea tinted moisturiser to achieve a fresh-faced look. The brush means there’s no need for finger application so less oil is transferred from the hands to my face. Winner!

Mattifying Finish Brush

The unique duo-fibre design creates a flawless finish with either pressed or loose powder by blending long, straight bristles and short, wavy bristles. The short bristles pick up the perfect amount of product, while the long bristles disperse product evenly and smoothly for buildable coverage. It ensures even application and simply glided on my face. A gorgeous brush that’s ideal for translucent powder, bronzer or blusher.

Eye Perfecting Brush

The brush features uniquely cut, rounded tip bristles that mimics the shape of a finger for easy application under and around the eyes without tugging sensitive skin or transferring oils from the hands. I loved the idea of this brush as I can be rough around my eyes without thinking.

Correcting Concealer Brush

A duo-fibre blend of short, wavy bristles and long, straight bristles pick up and distribute powder or liquid concealer for a precise spot coverage of dark circles, redness or other imperfections. It has a stippling effect and blends concealer nicely onto spots but I still prefer to use my fingers to apply concealer under my eyes.

Have you tried anything from the Eco Tools range? What brush can’t you live without?
