Zara leather, braids and Nike sneakers

I haven’t written an outfit post in such a long time that I almost feel guilty to call myself a fashion blogger! Has anyone else found it really difficult to take outfit photos this winter? The wind and rain has been relentless!

I’m hoping to keep up the outfit posts from now especially as spring/summer is coming. It’s so much easier when the days are longer and lighter!

I prefer my outfits when the weather is warmer too as I don’t have cover them up with layers and bulky coats. I’m excited to wear skirts and dresses without tights as well – bring it on!

Trousers, sweater and jacket, all Zara. Trainers, Nike. Sunglasses, River Island. Rings, Pandora.

Anyway, this look is something which I threw together for a day out recently. I bought the trousers from Zara a couple of years ago but they’ve lasted well. The simple monochrome design makes them really versatile – I’ve worn them to work, shopping and nights out! I’ve got a few pairs of printed trousers but these are probably my favourite because they’re so easy-to-wear.

I’ve got a collection of leather jackets in my wardrobe but I can’t resist buying more. I could have worse addictions though eh!  I chose this Zara style because it’s smarter than my other chunky, biker jackets and I liked the slim fit for a change.

And can you believe it, I’m wearing trainers! If you’ve read my style posts in the past, you’ll know that I’m not a trainer kind of girl but to be honest, I need break from boots every now and then. I went for a black and white pair because I know they’ll look good with most outfits. The majority of my wardrobe is black with flashes of grey!

I always feel the need to wear my hair down for blog posts but seeing as I’m a full blown, trainer-clad rebel these days, I thought it would be nice show my hair when it’s tied back too. I’ve got a weakness for braids, they’re so pretty.

Hope you like this look!
