Clinique Skincare favourites

When it comes to skincare, Clinique is my favourite brand. I tried the 3 step system as a teenager and have been hooked ever since. The products work so well and they’ve never disagreed with me or irritated my skin. Here’s what I’m loving at the moment:

Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush

This brush is perfect for giving my skin a deep clean. It has two bristle types for targeted cleansing and the sonic action helps dislodge impurities, dirt and pollution. It even helps lift residue of make-up and sunscreen. I don’t rely on it solely to remove my make-up but it’s great for using as part of a second cleanse (after I’ve removed my make-up first!)

Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm

I’ll get to the point – this stuff is absolutely brilliant. It transforms from a solid balm to a silky oil on application and then you simply rinse it off. It’s lightweight, non-greasy and dissolves stubborn eye and face make-up in no time. It also leaves my skin feel like velvet afterwards. A seriously good cleanser.

Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

My skin isn’t particularly dry but I like to give it a moisture boost now and again. This overnight mask sinks in beautifully and protects skin from dehydration. What’s more, it doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t leave marks on my pillow. It might be too heavy for me in the summer but I’m looking forward to slathering it on in the winter.

All About Eyes

This eye cream doesn’t disappoint! The lightweight cream/gel formula absorbs really well and reduces the appearance of puffy eyes, darkness and fine lines. I also find that it helps hold my concealer in place. Plus, it can be used both under the eyes and on lids.

Smart Custom Serum

I haven’t been using this serum long but my skin looks healthier, fresher and more radiant! It’s light in texture and lovely to apply. However, it does take a few minutes to sink in properly (especially on top of moisturiser) so I’d recommend waiting for a bit before applying make-up!

3 Step Introduction Kit Skin Type 2

The 3 step system is so easy to use, just cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise using the 3 products. The Liquid Face Wash is super gentle on my skin and doesn’t feel like it’s stripping it of moisture. The Clarifying Lotion de-flakes my face, making it look brighter and clearer. Meanwhile, the Moisturising Lotion+ is the ideal moisturiser – creamy texture, absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft.
