Press days and previews
I don’t usually write about my work trips to London but seeing as I keep my social media followers updated with what I’be been doing, I thought why not do the same for my blog followers?
I try to visit London as often as I can for meetings, press days and events. If I’ve got a lot planned, I’ll stay overnight but normally, I just go for the day.
Earlier this week, I went purely for press days. I had been invited to six press days but only ended up making four of them. It’s surprising how long it takes to travel between each one!
Goodley Bullen PR
The first one was Goodley Bullen PR, whose clients include Monica Vinader, Coast and Pretty Ballerinas. Sadly, I didn’t manage to get proper photos there but you might have caught it if you follow me on Instagram Stories or Snapchat.
Mint Velvet
Next up, I went to the Mint Velvet press day which was my personal highlight. It had a desert theme with a huge wall print and cactuses everywhere. It certainly brought LA vibes to rainy, miserable UK. There were lots of neutrals, black and white and pops of pink.
B PR
Then, it was time for the B PR press day. I spent quite a while there because they have so many clients including Missguided, Public Desire, Sienna X, Carmex and Forever Unique. It was great to see what’s in store for next year and even get a sneak preview of brand new products.
REISS
Lastly, I went to the REISS press day which I was really looking forward to as it’s one of my favourite brands. Even before going into the building, I knew that I would love everything! I wasn’t wrong, there are some amazing pieces lined up for SS17 and the accessories are to die for!
As I mentioned, I couldn’t make the last two press days I had been invited to because I simply didn’t have enough time but I’m looking forward to my next trip already! London feels like my second home.
Let me know if you like keeping updated with my work trips and I’ll write more in the future.
