Working the embroidery trend with LASULA

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have noticed that embroidery is everywhere this season. From bomber jackets to bags to skirts, there’s no avoiding the trend. Unlucky if it’s not your thing!

Fortunately, I absolutely love it and cannot stop adding embroidered pieces to my wardrobe. Seriously, it’s an addiction. I mean, have you seen my Instagram? I don’t even want to know how many embroidered skirts I have!

I think embroidery jazzes up the simplest of pieces and it’s a great way to inject some colour into any outfit. For someone who wears black a lot, it makes a nice change to add some colour here and there.

Embroidery is also ideal for adding some detail to an otherwise basic look. Personally, I’m not one to shy away from patterns and prints but if you’re not into looking “full-on”, then embroidered pieces are a good way to go!

It’s all in the details

The skirt I’m wearing is from LASULA, which was kindly sent to me along with a few other goodies (I’ll be showing you them very soon!). How gorgeous is the skirt though?! I’m loving the khaki faux leather and the embroidery is so pretty! A firm favourite for Autumn, no doubt!

Here, I’ve paired it with a classic black knit and ankle boots for a cute daytime look and as it gets colder, I’ll be digging the tights out. I’d also wear it through to the evening with a black bodysuit and a sassy little clutch bag.

I haven’t shopped at LASULA before but I was quite impressed with their collections and will definitely be having a browse more often. And if you fancy a spend yourself, you can get 15% off site wide with the code GEORGIA15!
