Green tea & Gossip Girl: My perfect cosy night in

I usually spend most of my evenings at the gym or the yoga studio. However, as the gyms are closed, I’ve had to make do with nights in at home. Well, when the weather is miserable anyway! Otherwise, I’m soaking up the sun in the garden.

Compulsive viewing

Normally, I don’t watch much TV much but lockdown has pretty much forced to me to make the most of Netflix. I tend to gravitate towards sports, nutrition, nature and travel documentaries because they’re entertaining and they give me a new perspective on subjects that I’m passionate about.

But apart from documentaries, I love stylish TV shows such as Sex and the City and Gossip Girl. I can watch them over and over again just to appreciate the clothes! Iove British sitcoms too, I grew up watching the UKGold channel!

Snacks

I’m not fussed on sweets or chocolate so my snacks of choice are fruit, popcorn, nuts and anything else I can stuff my face with and not feel like I’ve had a sugar overload. I love crisps but I try not to eat them too much otherwise I won’t be able to stop. Salty, crunchy snacks are my weakness!

I wish I could say something exciting but green tea or water is pretty much all I drink. I’m sure the above would look more picturesque with a big cup of hot chocolate with a mountain of whipped cream and mini marshmallows but it wouldn’t be very me.

Candles also make my night in feel more tranquil. I don’t light them too often because I worry about soot stains on the walls or ceiling. But when it’s dismal outside, there’s nothing like lighting up the room with a soft glow. Let’s not forget the slippers and blankets either for maximum contentment.

What makes your night in complete?
