I wore this Miss Selfridge embellished co-ord to my friend Fran’s hen party a couple of weeks ago. I picked the whole outfit up from their petite range, it always comes up trumps!

The black embellished shorts are beautiful with the gold sequins and beads. They’re loose as well so perfect for shimmying on the dance floor. The weather was quite mild when I took this picture so I didn’t need tights but now that it’s much colder, I would definitely throw on a pair of opaques! They would be lovely in the summer too, I’d wear them to Ibiza or to a festival with Hunter wellies.
The co-ordinating embellished top is cute too. I like the fact that I can mix and match the pieces or wear them together like I’ve done here. As the embellishment isn’t too OTT, I would also wear this in the daytime with a thin black high neck jumper underneath. Pretty and versatile – I like!
