The Zara denim dress

I’ve been eyeing up denim dresses for a while but couldn’t find ‘The One.’ Then, I spotted this dreamy little number on the Zara website recently. It was love at first sight!

A JEAN-ius buy (sorry)

The dress itself is made from thick denim (like a denim jacket) so it felt really good quality and not at all flimsy like other denim dresses I’ve seen on the high street. I didn’t want a dress that looked like a long shirt and I didn’t want material that creased easily. No chance of that with this sturdy fabric.

The indigo colour is lovely too – I wanted a denim shade that I could wear all year round and not pack away when the cold months set in. I’m all about versatility when it comes to clothes!

Speaking of versatility, I think this dress will look just as cute with tights and boots in the winter as it does with bare legs in the summer. Would you agree?

This is another transitional look of mine. Even though the weather is warmer, I don’t feel ready to ditch my trusty ankle boots just yet.

However, I will be teaming it with flat leather sandals when my pedicure game is up to scratch. It would also look great with a pair of white Converse for a cool, off-duty look.

At £59.99, it’s wasn’t exactly a mega bargain but I didn’t mind paying because I know that I will get so much wear out of it. Personally, I’d rather spend on a few quality items that will look good no matter what season rather than loads of cheap bits and pieces. But that’s just me!

Do you love this dress as much as I do? Have you found a nicer style? Let me know!

I love this dress and I’m looking to order it, but unsure about sizing. Do you mind if I ask what size you got/how the fit is? It looks great on you!

    Thanks!

      Hi Sonya,

Thanks for your message. Of course, I don’t mind you asking. I’m wearing an XS here. It’s fairly loose-fitting but that could be due to the fact that I am very petite. To be honest, I’d rather it to be loose as the material is thick denim so I could imagine it to be quite uncomfortable if it was tight-fitting or a bodycon style. Hope this helps! If you’d like to know anything else, please let me know.

Thank you so much for reading! :)
