Shopping at Fforestfach Retail Parc

A couple of weeks ago, the team at Fforestfach Retail Parc challenged me to find the perfect summer outfit for £150.

After the challenge, they gave their Facebook followers a chance to win a £150 shopping spree at Fforestfach Retail Parc with myself.

Last weekend, I took the winner Cheri out shopping to help spend her prize. She had a couple of occasions in mind which she needed new pieces for, including a wedding and a summer holiday.

A great space to try on the latest looks in River Island!

Our first stop was River Island, where she was tempted by a number of things from white jeans to casual tees to kimonos. There were two gorgeous faux suede skirts which caught Cheri’s eye. The pastel pink design looked sleek and chic with its simple paneled design complete with a split to the front. I told Cheri that it would be gorgeous for the wedding paired with a nude or cream cami and finished off with a cream jacket to smarten up the look. I thought the soft pink colour really complemented Cheri’s tanned complexion!

Cheri also spotted this light grey design, which she really liked. With a metallic waistband and split to the front, I advised that it would be a fabulous skirt to wear on a glamorous night out with the girls!

Perfect for a night out!

Although the grey skirt wouldn’t look out of place at a wedding, I encouraged her to choose the light pink skirt as it looked more formal. Of course, it was Cheri’s choice but she agreed that the pink was more appropriate. Result!

Next, we headed to Marks and Spencer. Cheri had seen a mint jumper the week before which she was hoping to get but unfortunately it had sold out. She also spotted a few bits including a pretty white lace beach cover-up and some cute underwear sets but they were sold out in her size.

After that, we had in New Look where Cheri saw a lovely white lace high neck bikini top and matching bottoms, which would be perfect for her holiday.

Finally, we went to Next where Cheri decided on some cute homeware bits.

A successful shopping trip!

Overall, I had lots of fun shopping with Cheri at Fforestfach Retail Parc – there’s a great range of shops all in one place and free onsite parking so you don’t have to worry about going far!
