I thought I’d share one of my more casual looks today because I’ve noticed that most of my recent outfit posts have been centered on dresses or skirts. I do wear jeans occasionally, honest.
I bought these ASOS ripped skinny jeans last year as they were the only pair I could find at the time which had thigh rips as well as knee rips. Personally, I don’t see the point in just having a rip on each knee – you might as well go all out with mega rips! The jeans also came in petite sizes, which was a bonus. Cheers ASOS!
With ripped jeans, I think there’s a fine line between looking edgy and scruffy so I like to make sure that the rest of my outfit looks clean and fairly polished to avoid the ‘I just rolled out of bed’ look. Although if that’s the look you’re going for, feel free to throw on a hoody and trainers!
Instead, I paired them with a chic grey knit from Zara and my new favourite boots from River Island. The grey sweater is really flattering and features some lovely gold button detailing on the sleeves, which give it a more expensive feel. I can see me wearing it a lot throughout the autumn/winter months.
I have an unhealthy addiction to black boots so I thought I’d mix things up with a grey pair every so often. I’m out of control, I know! The block heel means that I can wear them comfortably from day to night with no need to lug a spare pair of heels around. I’m all for shoes which you can wear from the office to the bar.
