Again, it’s been a little while since I updated the blog. It’s been a weird year so far and I’m just trying to keep up with whatever is thrown at me. All while being a sassy independent woman, of course.
Shopping has definitely kept me going (everyone has their vices!) and I’m really looking forward to showing you what I’ve bought recently. I have lots of looks coming soon!
This ribbed knit dress by Noisy May has definitely put a smile on my face. I can’t get enough of stripes and the bright colours are so much fun.
Despite being knitted, it’s actually super lightweight and soft so you wouldn’t be uncomfortable if temperatures start to rise. It’s not like a heavy jumper dress!
Since I’m not a big fan of having my boobs on show, I love the high neckline! I prefer to focus on other parts of my body rather than cleavage so this dress is a winner for me.
Personally, I don’t mind the close-cut bodycon fit but it’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea. It shows every lump and bump so you need a bit of body confidence!
I’ve paired the dress with ASOS black strappy heels to emphasise my legs and make them look longer. I look much taller than I am here, the power of a good pair of high heels!
Despite my love for heels, I’d also wear this dress with Converse for a more laid-back look. I don’t usually like wearing trainers outside of the gym but sometimes it’s nice to be casual.
