Cosy knits & boots; my last winter style post

For me, March marks the spring season so I’m hoping this will be my last post where I’m wearing winter clothes! I can’t wait to fill my wardrobe with new season pieces. Is anyone else as excited as me?!

As much as I Iove cosy knits and boots, I’m so ready for lighter fabrics and sandals. Not to mention, the pretty pastel shades! I’ve got a few spring looks lined up already so keep an eye out on my Instagram for sneak peeks before I blog about them. Come on spring/summer!

In the meantime, this outfit has been pretty much my standard winter uniform – black jeans, a chunky knit and boots. In my opinion, black jeans are a essential every season but I wear them to death in the winter. I have about 5 pairs on rotation!

Cosy and chic

I have jumpers in every shade but there’s something so chic about grey. It’s such an understated yet stylish colour. Grey and black are always a classic combination too! I also wore a tan handbag to add some warmth and give the look a lift.

I’ve gone off wearing knee high boots with skirts and dresses but I still like them with jeans. I haven’t worn these boots very much over the past couple of months but I’ll try to dig them out more next winter. They make a change from the usual ankle boots.

When it comes to jewellery, I prefer silver. I’ve got a cool skin tone and silver suits me better. I’m not too bothered about necklaces but I like simple bracelets and sparkly rings. I’m really into pretty rings and manicured nails. I’m always typing in my day job and with blogging so it’s nice to have something to look at!

What do you like about this outfit? Let me know what you think!
