What’s in my makeup bag

I enjoy reading posts about what’s in bloggers’ makeup bags. It’s so interesting to see what products people use. These posts have inspired me to write about what’s in my makeup bag so hopefully you’ll find mine interesting too. I’ve only written about my favourite products though otherwise I could go on and on!

My kinda heaven!

Make-up bag, £12, Next

I replace my make-up bag every year because even though I wipe all my products and the bag lining daily with anti-bacterial wipes, it still gets mucky. And sometimes, I just feel like a change.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, £33.50

I like using tinted moisturiser to places when I don’t feel the need to wear much make-up. It’s more lightweight than foundation but adds a healthy glow to my face.

Benefit POREfessional primer, £24.50

I never thought I’d love a primer this much but Porefessional is just so good. When I forget to use it, I can really tell the difference – foundation doesn’t glide on as easily. Plus, I never have to reapply foundation during the day with it – it just lasts and lasts!

Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Sponge On Cream Make-Up in 09 Honey Beige, £24

I’ve been using this foundation for years. I’ve tried lots of other foundations in case I’m missing out but I always go back to this one. I love it that much! It’s provides amazing coverage and does what it says – gives a flawless finish.

Benefit High Beam, £19

I use this everyday to make my complexion look fresh and radiant – it’s great for when my skin is looking tired and is in need of a boost. I only use a small amount so the bottle lasts ages.

Estée Lauder Double Wear mascara, £20.50

I’ve bought Esteé Lauder mascaras a few times now because they have excellent staying power but come off easily with cleanser and water. This one curls my lashes well and doesn’t clump them.

Benefit Boi-ing concealer in 02 light/medium, £17.50

I’ve been hooked on this concealer for years! It has a thick consistency but doesn’t cake or look heavy. I suffer from dark circles no matter how much sleep I get or how well I eat so this little beauty camouflages them perfectly! It lasts all day too, especially when I use Benefit Stay Don’t Stray primer (£20.50) underneath.

Estée Lauder Pure Colour Blush in Wild Sunset, £25

I go through phases with blusher. I don’t like wearing it all the time but sometimes it’s nice to have a bit of colour on my cheeks. I like this one because it’s an ultra-silky powder which doesn’t fade.

Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow palette in 93 Smoky Eyes, £40

I like to have smoky eyes for a nights out. I go for this when I want a softer and more natural effect . The palette isn’t cheap but the colours are highly pigmented so I never have to use much.
