My look today is quite minimal – I’m wearing Topshop skinny jeans, a basic Zara white vest and a Zara black blazer.
The weather is quite dull in Wales (surprise, surprise) so I’ve gone for this outfit as it is suitable for rain or shine. Fingers crossed for some sun later on though! I’m not a fan of rain.
My favourite outfits are simple ones and I think this look is a good example of that as it’s fuss-free and easy to wear. I love these Topshop skinny jeans and Zara black blazer together, it’s such an effortless combination. It doesn’t matter what shoes I team with it either, it will look chic whether I go for heels or flats. Sometimes I wear sneakers with the outfit if I’m after a laid-back, cool vibe.
I haven’t done much with my hair to be honest, I just brushed out the loose waves that I had in yesterday and spritzed a little Batiste dry shampoo into the roots. I use the variety for medium and brunette hair as it doesn’t leave me with white roots like regular non-tinted dry shampoos do. I’m happy with the way my hair looks, it has some body, bounce and a nice bit of shine to it. Almost like a fake blow-dry!
As for my face, I’m not wearing much makeup. It’s good to let my skin breathe. Plus, I can never be bothered to wear a lot on the weekend unless there’s a special occasion! Although I am out for dinner to celebrate my boyfriend’s mother’s birthday later so I might put a sweep of eyeliner on and a slick of pink lipstick. A gal has to make an effort.
