I feel that I can finally start to look forward to Christmas now that it’s December 1st. As the festive season has arrived, I can eat mince pies, watch The Grinch and listen to Bing Crosby’s White Christmas to my heart’s content. I can also look perfectly primped and preened while doing so – thanks to this year’s advent calendar by Benefit Cosmetics.
I mentioned the calendar to Phil back in October but as they were £60, I didn’t expect him to buy me one. They were sold out online at the time but would be available in stores in November. Little did I know that Phil had made a note of the date that the calendars would be launched in our local Debenhams and he sneaked off to buy one. What a darling!
The advent calendar is filled with 24 mini treasures including firm favourites POREfessional and They’re Real! to treats I haven’t got around to trying yet like Stay Flawless and Chacha tint. Plus, there are a variety of lip glosses in stunning shades which will be perfect for popping in my clutch for the Christmas parties ahead.
I’m really excited to open the sweet shoppe doors as the month goes on. Thank you Phil for my lovely surprise. It’s the gift that gets sweeter every day!
