H&M sequin skirt and River Island monochrome top

Hi everyone,

It’s that time of year when I’m thinking of what to wear to the Christmas parties and social gatherings in December. Even though I prefer to wear dresses for special occasions, there’s nothing wrong with having a few backup outfits for when I’m not in the mood to wear a dress, like this H&M sequin skirt and River Island monochrome top combo.

 

The H&M sequin skirt feels really flattering on, I love it! It hugs my figure perfectly and I like the length. It’s smart but without being dowdy. The sequins add a bit of fun too. Christmas is sparkly season, after all!

The top from River Island is simple but chic, I’d feel comfortable wearing it at an office party or dancing the night away at a bar. You can’t go wrong with a monochrome colour palette either, it suits everyone, looks good at all occasions and rarely looks out of place.

As it’s getting much colder, I’d team this combo with a cropped leather jacket for a festive Friday night out with the girls or a black fur coat for a more formal occasion, like wining and dining on a Saturday evening with my boyfriend.
