I’ve been obsessed with Benefit Cosmetics since I was a teenager. There’s something about their cute packaging, cool product names and witty puns that give a sense of fun, as well as a fabulous face.
I’ve put together a few Bene bits that I personally love. Most are in miniature form because I’m still using them from my Christmas advent calendar. However, I’ve bought all the products full-sized in the past and will do so again when my minis’ run out.
This delicate pink balm contains raspberry extracts and light-reflecting pigments to instantly perk up tired eyes. It can be applied on bare skin or over makeup but I like to use it before make-up to make me look alive again. A saviour.
I was mad for BADgal then it was about They’re Real and now I’ve fallen for Roller Lash. It grabs, separates and lifts my lashes brilliantly, lasts all day and makes my eyes look more wide open. It doesn’t dry out my lashes either and make them look spidery.
Stay Don’t Stray in light/medium
This primer makes concealers and eyeshadows stay put. Concealers don’t crease and eyeshadows stay vibrant. I also wear it alone to help even out my eyelid discolouration and to brighten up under eye circles. Perfect for a minimal make-up look!
Fake Up in 02 medium
I’m a die-hard fan of Boi-ing concealer but I rave about it so much that I feel like other Benefit concealers haven’t been given a chance to shine. With Vitamin E and apple seed extract, Fake Up is hydrating and helps make my skin feel more comfortable. Great for a silky smooth, ultra-natural look.
What’s brilliant about Hoola is that it’s bronze in colour not orange, has no sparkle and looks completely natural both in the box and on my face. I sweep in on either side of my face in a ‘3’ motion (from forehead to cheekbone to chin) before dusting on some Sugarbomb blusher.
So there you have it, a few but certainly not all of my Benefit faves. Which Bene products do you swear by? Would you recommend any that I haven’t mentioned? Tell me!
