I’m making the most of autumn weather by teaming knitwear with skirts and bare legs while it’s still mild. It won’t be long before the chill sets in and I can’t leave the house without tights!
Remember when denim skirts were a 90s wardrobe staple? Well, they’re back and I don’t know why ever they left. They’re so easy to wear and great for laid-back, everyday looks! The indigo colour of this ASOS denim skirt is great for in-between seasons as it pairs well with warmer shades like rust and copper.
Speaking of rust, I had to snap up this high neck sweater while browsing on ASOS. I wouldn’t normally wear that colour but it was only £14 in the sale so I thought I’d give it a go! Although you can’t see it, I love the fact that it’s sleeveless because I can wear it on its own or layer with a long sleeved tee underneath when it gets cold.
I rarely shop in New Look but I came across this suedette panel saddle bag on ASOS (yes, I’m addicted!) and I thought it was cute. A good size to take shopping on the weekends but still small enough to not look out of place if you decide to go for evening dinner and drinks. The suedette panels and gold accents add some nice detailing without being too OTT. It went well with the jacket too.
I really like the Western vibes of the jacket, it caught my eye with the contrast panels! Admitedly, it looked more like a chocolate brown colour online which appealed to me as I don’t have a brown jacket but it’s actually more of a mahogany. I don’t think it makes much difference, it’s still a cool jacket!
What are your thoughts on this look?
Love the jacket and bag. xx
