I’ve had the opportunity to try lots of wonderful hair products recently and I thought that I’d share a few of them with you.
VO5 Give Me Moisture Hot Oil Treatment
First of all, I have to praise the VO5 Give Me Moisture Hot Oil Treatment because it’s quite simply, brilliant. The pack contains four tubes (one tube per application) which you heat up and apply before shampooing. Each tube uses the power of heat and penetrates deep within the hair, to counteract the damage caused by heated appliances and colouring. After just one tube, my hair felt silky smooth and was so much easier to style!
VO5 Give Me Texture Tousled Style Spray
My hair is poker straight so I like to use a curling wand to add some waves and movement. But it does need a bit of extra help and that’s where the VO5 Give Me Texture Tousled Style Spray comes in handy. This nifty spray gives effortless texture for all hair types and lengths, as well as definition with a touchable finish. After curling, I spray onto dry hair and lift, scrunch and twist for instant texture.
Alberto Balsam Shine Spray
I’m usually wary of shine sprays because they can make my hair look greasy but the Alberto Balsam Shine Spray was surprisingly light. It brings a glow to my hair leaving it soft to the touch. The gentle formula contains no parabens while the rose oil and peach scent is a lovely bonus. I use in the morning and spray lightly all over for a perfect, high shine finish.
Toni & Guy Glamour Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo
While the Toni & Guy Glamour Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo didn’t do great job of making my hair feel clean, it did give my locks some bounce. A quick spritz really lifted my roots and added body while making backcombing a breeze. So even though I wouldn’t use this to refresh my hair in between washes, it’s an ideal product to help create voluminous hairstyles from sky-high beehives to glamorous blow-dries.
