My favourite monochrome looks

As much as I love experimenting with different looks, you can’t beat monochrome outfits. Black and white together is smart, stylish and never looks outdated. It’s such a classic combination! I wear monochrome a lot so I thought I’d share my favourite 3 looks from recent months. I love them all in different ways but let me know which one you like the most!

Monochrome look 1: The t-shirt and slip dress

How do you make an evening dress casual? Just layer a t-shirt underneath! Adding a t-shirt is a simple way to get some extra mileage out of a dress, especially if you only wear it on a night out! It’s also great if you prefer to be more covered up, like me. I’m not a big fan of low necklines or having my boobs out so this look is a real winner.

Monchrome look 2: The skirt and roll neck

I’ve got plenty of leather and stripes in my wardrobe so it makes sense to pair them together! This is a typical “me” outfit as I live in skirts and ankle boots. It’s like my unofficial uniform! I’m dreading those winter months where you have to wear trousers because it’s just too cold for skirts, even with tights! I think this leather mini looks perfect with the black and white striped roll neck.

Monochrome look 3: Denim and leather

As I’ve mentioned, I live in skirts and ankle boots so this is another of my go-to looks. It makes a nice change to wear black denim and I think it goes well with the fresh white tee. The leather jacket just completes off the outfit. Even though you see me in a lot of florals, I’m obsessed with grungy glam style because it’s effortlessly cool and what I feel most comfortable in.
