Halloween inspired looks ft. Ego Footwear

I’ll be completely honest, I’m not a big fan of fancy dress. I’d rather spend my money on something I’ll actually wear again rather than tacky costumes. Does anyone else feel the same?

With Halloween just around the corner, I thought I’d share some Halloween inspired looks featuring some High Street favourites.

Nothing complicated, just easy outfits you can throw together in no time at all. Just add a spooky accessory, vampy make-up and voila, instant Halloween.

I know minimal effort isn’t for everyone (I know so many people who go all out for Halloween!) but if you’re like me and cannot be bothered with fake blood and crazy wigs, then you might like these looks.

I know a cat isn’t the most original choice but it gets my vote because it means that you can wear head-to-toe black with no excuses needed. What’s not to love?

Here, I teamed a leather mini with a lace crop-top and my new Ego over the knee boots. For actual Halloween, I’d probably paint on some whiskers and do a dark lip but for now, a cat ear headband will do. There are so many different styles on the high street but I went for a glitzy pair. You can’t beat a bit of sparkle.

Admittedly, I wanted to get a witch’s hat for this look but couldn’t find one I liked so I picked up a pretty lace mask instead. It didn’t sit right on my face so unfortunately; I’m not wearing it in the pictures but it made a cute accessory instead. As for the ensemble, I chose all black again just because! If you want to keep things simple, a velvet dress and pointed boots are the perfect solution. I love the half suede, half leather effect of this Ego pair!

And just in case you wanted to look a bit more obvious, you can’t go wrong with a skeleton print dress!
