A couple of weeks ago, I went to see Justin Bieber in Birmingham with Phil. We decided to make a weekend of it and stayed at Park Regis.
Luxury surroundings
Park Regis is an upscale 4-star hotel located in the heart of the Birmingham’s City Centre. The hotel offers a modern and contemporary ambiance but has a boutique feel to it.
From the moment you walk in, it’s pure luxury with spectacular lighting, marble flooring and plush décor. After a long journey, it was a pleasure to arrive to such beautiful surroundings!
Exceutive Room
We were given an Executive Room and even though we arrived two hours ahead of check-in time, the room was ready straightaway.
The Executive Room was super spacious with modern furnishings along with an area to relax and take in the views. Phil and I loved sitting on the window ledge to look out the window!
The room had an abundance of features including individually controlled air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, a large LCD TV, a work desk, music station and bathrobe and slippers. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate a robe to lounge around in! So cosy.
Additionally, there was a lovely bathroom with a rain shower and The White Company toiletries. I forgot my razor and I was kindly supplied with a one free of charge as well as a mini shaving foam. Nice touch!
Executive rooms also come with access to the executive lounge. The lounge is a stylish area which can be used for work or play and offers complimentary snacks, drinks and canapes. It was the PERFECT place to have a few pre-drinks and nibbles before seeing Justin!
Dining options
Speaking of food, the hotel had some fantastic restaurants on offer; 1565 Restaurant and Rofuto. I was desperate to try Rofuto as it’s the highest restaurant in Birmingham but unfortunately it’s closed on Sundays and Mondays, the two days we were there!
We didn’t have a chance to eat in 1565 either but we did manage to enjoy a coffee before checking-out and making our way home. FYI, they serve Starbucks!
Overall, our stay at Park Regis was nothing but wonderful and I don’t have a bad word to say about the hotel. The only disappointment was that Rofuto was closed but I guess that’s an excuse to visit again!
If you’re looking for luxury accommodation in Birmingham that’s central and looks picture-perfect, I’d highly recommend Park Regis.
*Many thanks to Park Regis for the complimentary stay
