Back in October, the Beauty Expert team sent me The Radiance Edition to try. It’s a luxury beauty bag containing a bespoke mix of premium skincare, hair care and body care products.
When it comes to beauty products, I like to spend some time testing them out. So if you’re wondering why I’m only now posting this review, that’s my reason!
The collection includes:
Jo Hansford Expert Colour Care Intensive Masque
An intensive masque bursting with a blend of natural ingredients. I’ve heard of Jo Hansford before but have never tried anything from her range. However, this masque was a wonderful introduction and left my hair feeling hydrated and smooth with a lovely shine.
Alpha-H Liquid Gold
This overnight treatment contains glycolic and hydroxyl acids to melt away dead skin cells, revealing healthy ‘new’ skin cells beneath. I loved the idea of Liquid Gold but unfortunately, it made my normally clear skin break out after each application. Sadly, not my favourite product in the selection.
Dr Hauschka Hydrating Hand Cream
I’m a big fan of Dr Hauschka products and this hand cream didn’t disappoint! It’s thick in consistency but absorbs really well and doesn’t leave my hands feeling greasy. An ideal product to soothe and protect hands from cold winter conditions. My new handbag essential!
Gatineau Perfect Design Revolumising Lip Care
This lip balm softens whilst strengthening the lips protective barrier. It’s also rich in nourishing ingredients, such as shea butter and lavender extract. I really liked the tube packaging too. In general, it’s a great lip balm but I didn’t notice any plumping effects.
Zelens Micro-Refiner Bi-Active Exfoliator
A renewing and refining exfoliator which buffs skin without stripping away essential oils. I was surprised at this – it’s so gentle! At first, it doesn’t feel like it’s doing much but after rinsing off my skin felt smooth and polished with no signs of irritation. A brilliant scrub.
Ingenious Beauty Ultimate Collagen Supplements
These supplements are designed to repair the skins structure, reduce wrinkles and lock in moisture to ensure elasticity. As amazing as they sound, the capsules were far too big for me to take (and you need to take 3 a day!) so I gave them to my boyfriend instead.
Overall, the Radiance Edition is the perfect gift for anyone who loves to pamper themselves with decadent products. And for £50, it’s fantastic value for money!
Although, I didn’t get on with the Alpha Gold or the supplements, that’s not to say that they won’t work wonders for anyone else. A gorgeous gift for any beauty aficionado!
