The rock t-shirt as a dress ft. Black Sabbath

One of my favourite TV shows of the noughties was The Osbournes on MTV. I watched it so much that I can still quote most episodes. I thought Kelly was the coolest but Ozzy was my absolute favourite. He was so funny without even trying!

So as soon as I saw this Black Sabbath t-shirt on ASOS, it had to be mine. I was hoping to wear it tucked into skinny jeans but it was so big that it looked far better as a dress. I bought the smallest size too! Oh well, it still looked cute even as a dress.

I’m a big fan of wearing oversized t-shirts as dresses. They’re effortlessly cool, comfortable and roomy enough that you can have a cheeky slice of cake at lunchtime without worrying about looking bloated. Hallelujah! Yes, I always have food on my mind.

As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I love rock/grunge inspired outfits but I have to add some glamorous touches so I feel like ‘me’. I just need a blow-dry, manicure and some sexy heels and I’m good to go!

Here, I teamed the t-shirt with over-the-knee boots from Ego and a checked shirt from Superdry. Checked shirts are brilliant for throwing over any outfit to give that chic, off-duty vibe. The boots stopped the look from being too casual. And the four inch heels certainly injected some glamour!

I also liked my make-up for this look. It’s natural (as ever!) but I feel like I’ve got a nice glow going on. I never used to wear moisturiser under my foundation but I’ve been doing it for the past couple of months and I think it’s helped create a healthy-looking base. That, and highlighter of course!

What do you think of my Black Sabbath t-shirt dress? Let me know!
