How I wear double denim ft. Topshop and Ego footwear

Hello everyone! Apologies that I haven’t been on the blog for a while. Real life has completely taken over recently.

There’s been so much going on and I’ve just been so busy! But I’ve really missed writing so much and I can’t wait to get back into blogging regularly again. It’s still a major priority, I feel lost without it.

Despite my blogging hiatus, my love for style has still been going strong and I’ve been constantly adding new pieces to my wardrobe (old habits never die!).

I used to think double denim was a bit too Justin and Britney circa 2001. However, I’ve warmed up to it recently. There’s something so casual and laid back about it. Plus, I feel kinda cool in head to toe denim!

The black denim shirt dress is from Topshop and it’s one of those dresses which I’ll keep for years. A definite staple! I have a lot of time for clothes which I get lots of wear out of.

Even though it’s a casual dress, I had to add heels for a touch of glam. Apart from trainers, I cannot wear flat shoes, I feel so frumpy in them. And being 5ft 1, I like to look taller so heels it is!

These mid-denim boots were kindly sent to me by Ego footwear. At first, I didn’t know if I could pull them off but actually, I surprised myself. They’re easier to wear than I thought.

Since the heel is rather high, I was worried that they would be uncomfortable but they’re absolutely fine. Then again, maybe I’m just used to wearing heels!

All in all, this is a pretty simple outfit but it’s an easy way to rock double denim without looking like a long-lost member of a noughties girl band.

Mind you, someone did comment on Instagram that this look reminded them of B*Witched so I could be wrong.

Oh well, C’est La Vie! Yes I went there.
