Fashion Pills floral coat

I’ve been desperate to ditch the heavy black winter coats lately so when Spanish brand Fashion Pills sent me this gorgeous coat, I jumped at the chance to wear it when the sun made a rare appearance in the UK.

If you haven’t heard of Fashion Pills, then you should definitely check it out. It’s a fabulous site dedicated to fashionistas worldwide in search of collections that are cutting edge but wearable at the same time.

The site also provides up-to-the-minute style inspiration too. From fashion guides, to lookbooks, to editorials and even FP TV – they’re committed to helping you stay connected with the latest trends. I’ve spent hours trawling through the look books and eyeing up the seriously cool outfits.

The summertime coat features a trench design and a pretty floral print making it the perfect transitional piece. While it looks lovely worn open, I prefer the fitted look and the waist belt is great for giving a more defined silhouette. I also love that it’s so lightweight – you could wear it now right up to the summer and probably during the Autumn.

Here, I’ve worn it over my beloved skinny jeans, a basic white vest and ankle boots as it’s not quite bare leg weather yet but I’ll be wearing it over a smart grey dress and black strappy sandals in the warmer months. I think that it would also look incredible teamed with high-rise jeans, a crisp white shirt and a bright red lip to make the print pop! Ooh, and it would look super cute over a swimsuit with platform sandals for a laid back Ibiza vibe. Beautiful!
