Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme Runway edition

BOSS is renowned for its fashion and also for its fragrances. Now both are brought together in the BOSS Woman Runway Edition 2015, a trilogy of glamorous scents that combine fashion and fragrance. Match made in heaven!

Each perfume features a fashion sketch (the day dress, the tuxedo, and the evening gown) inspired by BOSS Womenswear Artistic Director Jason Wu’s debut collection. The scents reflect these tailored looks in “scented form”.

Gorgeous bottle, gorgeous packaging!

I was kindly sent one of the scents in the trilogy, BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme. When I first saw it, the first thing I noticed was the packaging. The light pink bottle is sleek, sophisticated and features Jason Wu’s take on a bespoke smoking jacket. How chic! The box is equally as beautiful with a silhouette of a model walking down the runway wearing the smoking jacket paired with smart black pants. Such a classic combination!

The perfume itself blends the freshness of cactus blossom with heart notes of pink freesia, jasmine petals and rose buds complete with base notes of cedarwood. It is a fresh yet warm fragrance making it an ideal day-to-night perfume. I would gladly wear it to the office then top it up in the afternoon to go for indulgent after-work cocktails.

Although the scent is gorgeous, the bottle is the standout feature for me. I love the elegant fashion sketch complete with the gold accents on a pink backdrop. Most of my perfume bottles are black or clear, so a pretty pink bottle looks really feminine among the rest of my collection. I think that it would make a lovely gift to a stylish friend but I’m more than happy to keep this little gem to myself.

BOSS WOMAN RUNWAY EDITIONS will be available in stores nationwide August 2015.
