ASOS suede and Zara stripes

You might have noticed from my Instagram that I am really into the suede at the moment. It’s the perfect fabric for Autumn, not only in the traditional tan colours but also in jewel colours too. I’m wearing suede as much as I can now while the weather is dry because it is NOT made for the rain!

This ASOS suede biker jacket is a great tan colour and feels super soft. Biker style jackets are great for adding edge to any outfit and I liked the asymmetric zip closure and zipped cuffs and pockets on this style. I think it’s definitely worth spending a bit extra on good quality suede, if you can. Like faux leather, faux suede (or suedette!) can look naff.

Suede, denim and stripes make a fabulous Autumn look!

I’ve teamed it with a ASOS denim button through skirt. I’m making the most of lighter denim before the winter and this is a lovely midwash blue. It has a high-rise waist with contrast stitching and looks awesome with a slouchy white tee and black Converse on casual days.

However, I’ve dressed it up here with my River Island cut out ankle boots which have a lovely chunky heel so they’re comfortable to walk in but have a cute peep toe design with gold accents to inject a bit of glam into everyday looks.

I’m also wearing 3/4 sleeve striped tee from Zara. I’m reaching for striped tees a lot lately as they’re super easy to wear with a variety of fabrics and are great for transitional looks. Zara striped tees are excellent quality, affordable and come in lots of colours – I’d recommend them! I’m looking forward to stocking up on some more soon.

Hey, how are you? I am completely in love with this jacket and have been eyeing it for quite some time know. Could you please tell me what size you wearing as I am choosing between size 6 and 8. Usually I wear size 8 in clothes but I have read somewhere that this jacket runs large. Thank you so much for your replay! :) Nina
