ASOS suede meets patchwork

Now that September has arrived, I can happily wear my transitional outfits without feeling like I’m a summer killjoy. As much as I love the warmer months, I prefer Autumnal fashion. It’s far more understated but still fun – bare legs, knitwear and boots are my favourite combo!

I treated myself to this black sweater from Zara a few months ago knowing I’d wear it loads when the weather turned chilly again. It has some cute buttons on the sleeves which stop it from looking too basic.

The wrap skirt is a little ASOS number. It’s made from really soft suede and lined with satin so it feels like a dream to wear! I don’t usually go for high-rise waists but it made a nice change this time. The tie waist detail added a boho vibe – I could imagine wearing this skirt to a festival with a crochet bardot top and a floppy hat. I chose the colour as I’ve got a selection of coloured suede pieces but nothing in neutral shades so I thought that tan suede will make a classic addition to my wardrobe.

An ideal bag for a splash of colour and texture!

I’m really feeling patchwork at the moment! The clutch was another find from ASOS and it’s a great way to inject some pattern and colour into a simple outfit. I like the colours and can see me wearing this right into spring next year.

I finished the outfit with black boots, tortoiseshell shades and lightly curled locks. I’ve got a bit of an ombre look going on right now but it’s just my coloured hair grown out! I haven’t got any plans to have my hair dyed, I’m just going to keep growing it. The less money I spend at the hair salon, the more I can spend on new clothes. Heavenly!

Like this look? Let me know!

That skirt is SO beautiful, I’m thinking I might need to treat myself! The high-waisted fit really suits you by the way :)

Thank you so much my lovely! Yes, go for it – you can wear it now with bare legs and switch to tights in the winter! It’s a great little piece. :-)
