Valentine’s Day gift ideas

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so I thought I’d share some gift ideas for the occasion. Personally I’m not a fan of teddy bears, chocolates and the traditional red colour scheme so I’ve selected goodies which I would love to receive instead. If you like monochrome pieces with a simple yet stylish feel then you might like my choices below!

And not a hint of red in sight!

Cheryl Camisole and Shorts set, £32, Boux Avenue

In chic black, this satin camisole and shorts set make a gorgeous alternative to a chemise this Valentine’s Day. They’re perfect if you want something a bit slinky but not OTT. I’m all about comfort rather than sexiness these days but luckily, this set combines both! I’d team it with a black lace bralet for extra pretty detailing.

Neom Happiness Travel Candle, £16*

This travel candle by Neom features the enticing Happiness fragrance, which is quite possibly my new favourite smell. A sparkling blend of white neroli, mimosa & lemon fragrance notes, it’s such a positive and uplifting scent! Plus, the packaging is so clean, minimal and elegant, I just couldn’t resist.

Caroline Gardner Pina Colada Notebook, £9.50*

I’m constantly writing to-do lists so notebooks will always come in handy. This Caroline Gardner design features a unique black and white geometric pattern and is a good size for day-to-day use. It looks effortlessly chic both on my desk and in my handbag. Great for storing my thoughts in style!

Design Letters Porcelain Cup in ‘G’, £13.50*

How cute is this cup by Design Letters? The bold, black colouring creates a striking contrast to the crisp, white porcelain. I really like the vintage font designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen too. It will be ideal for my green tea but is also useful for storing hair clips, lipsticks or spare change.

Hope you have a lovely Valentine’s Day whatever your plans are!

*Please note that these gifts were gifted to me from Amara but as I chose them myself, my opinions on them are truthful and unbiased.

A big YES to leaving out everything red and tacky and embracing the monochrome! The Boux Avenue set is gorgeous, and love the mug too :)

      Hi Claire!

I do agree with you on the red. Monochrome is far more tasteful and less obvious! Than you for reading as ever :)
