All-black outfit and bouncy hair

As spring has finally sprung, I’ve been trying to take more outfit photos when I can. I could hardly take any this winter because it rained constantly from October to January! So I’ve been making the most of the dry weather recently before the downpours start again. #BritishFashionBloggerProblems.

Trousers and sweater, Zara. Boots, Kurt Geiger. Sunglasses, River Island. Rings, Pandora.

Anyway, here’s another all-black outfit that I’ve dug out from my wardrobe. The leather trousers are from Zara and I’ve had them for years. What I like about them is that they’re only leather on the front so they’re quite comfortable to wear as they feel much like regular trousers. I don’t wear them often because they’re not as fitted as I’d like but they’re still a good staple to have. I’m sure I’ll be able to get another few years wear out of them!

The roll neck sweater is a fairly new purchase from Zara. Yes, another roll neck for my collection! There’s something so understated and elegant about a fine knit, roll neck sweater. I’m a big fan of stocking up in different colours! I’m instantly drawn to striped pieces as they look minimal, clean and never go out of style! I love the slit sleeves too as they give that extra bit of detail.

Do you like my hair? I used heated rollers to get the big and bouncy look. I usually style my hair with a curling wand but the only problem with a wand is that I can’t get the same volume as I do with heated rollers. I just get a tousled, undone effect which is nice but you can’t beat the voluminous look! I just wish that the results would last longer – my hair is poker straight so curls fall out within a couple of hours. I know, talk about first world problems!

Does this OOTD get your vote? Let me know!

Love this outfit! You can’t beat a pair of leather trousers! I love your hair too, I always try and use heated rollers to get this look but it just ends up flat in minutes! Xxx

Thank you Hannah! I do love my trusty leathers. Ah, my curls don’t last very long either but I find that mousse before blow-drying and hairspray afterwards helps alot! Thanks for reading :)

This hair is GORGEOUS – I never would’ve thought it was naturally straight as you always manage to get such beaut waves (unlike when mine lies flat like a blonde version of Snape). Also of course I love this outfit, such a leather fan! I really need to grow up and start shopping in Zara as you always seem to have stunning pieces.

You are very kind Claire, thank you! I do manage to get curls in my hair; I just wish they stayed in longer! I wish I could rock straight hair like you though – it’s far from Snape-like! Glad you like the outfit doll, thanks for reading :)
