As the weather is mild in the UK at the moment, I’m wearing skirts as much as I can. It’s important to make the most of British sunshine, as we don’t get it very often! Sad but true.
This Little Mistress nude skirt is one of my favourite pieces right now. First of all, I love the colour. The pinky nude is such a flattering shade and looks gorgeous with black, white or other neutral shades. I’m looking forward to pairing it with a white blouse in the summer for a fresh and pretty feel.
Secondly, I love the fit. It’s high-waisted and a lovely length – it shows a bit of leg without being too short. It’s not tight or restrictive either. Although you can’t tell here, it has a slight A-line shape which is both cute and comfortable to wear. It’s nice to wear something roomy for a change!
I chose black separates because even though it’s warming up outside, I’m in not in summer mode yet so I’m sticking to trusty black until then. I’ve mentioned the Zara top and leather jacket in a previous post so I thought that I’d talk about my beauty look instead. I’ve kept my make-up quite natural with a touch of peach blush (the OC shade from the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani blusher palette) and barely-there nude lipstick (Ex-Girlfriend, also from the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani range). I’m also wearing a light layer of St.Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse to give me a healthy, start-of-spring glow. My nails are Revlon Gel Envy nail polish in Ace of Spades, which is a chic dark grey colour.
What do you think of the Little Mistress nude skirt or the outfit in general? Please let me know your thoughts!
