As soon as winter comes around, I pretty much live in jumpers and jeans until the late spring. Although it doesn’t sound like the most exciting combination, it certainly makes getting dressed in the mornings easier. Not to mention quicker!
I’m normally a huge fan of roll neck jumpers (it’s embarrassing how many I own!) but I fancied trying something a bit different recently. So, I ditched the roll necks and went for these choker jumpers from Missguided.
Okay, so they’re not completely out of the ordinary. But they still make a nice change. I purposely avoided going for black because I have more black jumpers than I care to mention. Instead, I chose cream and khaki.
I love these colours as they look great with both black and blue jeans. They also co-ordinate with what I already have. It’s all very well buying crazy colours until you realise that they go with absolutely nothing in your wardrobe! Been there, done that.
The jumpers are very fitted which makes them perfect to wear for a night out. I know wearing a jumper for a night on the town isn’t for everyone but I would gladly team one of these with leather trousers and heels If I had to be dragged to a bar.
As they’re not too thick, they would also be ideal for wearing under a leather jacket without feeling bulky. Even though I love big jumpers to curl up in, I hate the way they swamp my figure and make me feel frumpy. These jumpers definitely don’t make me feel frumpy!
I’ve teamed the jumpers with black skinnies and patent boots from ASOS here but I would definitely wear them with skirts or leather trousers, as I mentioned earlier. What do you think of Missguided knitwear?
