If there’s one item in my wardrobe that I couldn’t do without, it’s black skinny jeans. They’re flattering, go with everything and suit most occasions. It’s nice that I can wear them to work but with a change of shoes and some accesorising, I’m party/date night or even shopping with the girls ready.
Bring on the blue
Despite my love for black skinnies, I picked up these blue Jamie jeans from Topshop recently. Since I normally go for black Joni jeans, these made a lovely change! I really liked the high-waisted fit and the colour of the denim. They’re the perfect mid blue, not too dark and too light. I can see myself wearing them alot during the spring months.
In my opinion, Topshop have the best denim on the high street. Their petite range is perfect for me as they have smaller waist sizes as well shorter leg lengths. If I buy my jeans anywhere else I have to have them tailored to fit properly but with Topshop petite, there’s no need. It saves me a small fortune in alterations!
I wear heels more than any other shoe so of course, I had to wear my ASOS pointed courts with my new jeans. Even though blue jeans are laid back, the heels smarten them up and make me feel more put together. I’m not a typically casual kind of girl. My version of casual is probably some else’s version of dressed up!
Motif t-shirts seem to be everywhere at the moment and I can’t say I dislike it! They make a statement without you saying a word. This gorgeous style has a small ‘Bad Habits’ slogan to one side of chest. It’s a super cute basic and I love it styled with my Western belt for a cool finish.
What do you think of this look? Do you prefer black or blue denim?
